KyaArt - Moulding creativity into business

She always loved arts and crafts. And when she heard about a local hobby class, she was clear about joining it to hone her skills. That was when she was just in class 8! After completing her SSC exams, she joined Rachna Sansad Institute located at Prabhadevi, Dadar (Mumbai) for a Diploma in Interiors and textiles. The rest, as they say, is history... or should I say art history!

Meet Jinisha Shah from Mumbai who runs a home decor and gifting store where she exhibits and sells her creations. The store is called KyaArt (branded by yours truly!) for obvious reasons. When you see the products at the store, you are bound to exclaim, "Kya art hai boss!"

7 Healing properties of SALE

It's sale time again at Inorbit and almost every store is offering discounts. Watches, clothes, footwear, books, accessories, home decor, bed & bath, cosmetics, toys, eyewear, bags, groceries... there's some discount on everything.

How I love this season... Monsoon ka magic and Sale waali shopping! With the rain cleaning up the dust gathered on the leaves for a year, everything around looks really new. Greener trees, cleaner roads... add to it a new set of clothes, shoes and accessories and it's like a rebirth!

I wait patiently for the two main sale seasons in the city and then I try to make the most of it. Shopping during the SALE period has countless healing properties, some of which I list here:

  1. It helps you save money. So you are happier and happier mind means healthier body!
  2. It makes you walk for hours together from one end of a mall to another, from the top floor to the LG. And thus you burn a whole lot of calories!

Hyper-Error at HyperCity!

HyperCity has always been my favourite place to shop for groceries. I love the layout and the choices available. But this once, it made me laugh! I wondered if they wouild charge more than the MRP of Minute Maid. Thankfully they charged Rs. 15 for the bottle. So it's just an error! I wonder how many people did not pick up the bottle considering that it is being sold at a higher price!

Tips for buying electronic products

This is not a sponsored post, it's my personal experience. When it comes to buying electronics, we generally head to the popular electronic megastores. The umpteen newspaper ads announcing exchange deals, best prices, free gifts etc. tempt us for sure, but also leave us confused.

Now when I decide to purchase an electronic device, and an expensive one for that matter, I always believe in five things:

Shoppers Stop - Discounts on Online Shopping

Now since Shoppers Stop is very close to my place, I always visit the store when I need to shop. But I just discovered that they have this 24x7 online shopping system.
